An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Argos as a PA, supporting our Principal Head of Software Engineering and the Head of Technical Program Management.
This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth running of both their day-to-day work load as well as responsibility for the day-to-day running of our Technology Hub.
As a PA, your main responsibilities will be to:
Co-ordinate and manage diaries to ensure the best use of time and book meeting rooms
Monitor inboxes and respond to correspondence and diary invitations in a timely manner
Proactively ensure that the Principal Head of Software Engineering and the Head of Technical Program Management are prepared for meetings, including any documents, information required
Assist with presentation material when required
Review all procurement requests for financial adherence and impact to budgetary goals
Manage department expenses
Build good working relationships across the organisation but especially within ArgosTech
Book and arrange any travel requirements including hotel accommodation, train, taxis and directions.
Travel to the Milton Keynes or Holborn Office as required (Milton Keynes once per week on average)
Provide cover for other PA’s, Team Administrator and/or Office Co-ordinator when necessary
Any ad hoc requirements
Extensive experience working as a PA to a Senior Director in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Strong influencing skills
Ability to liaise with colleagues of all levels, in different departments across business
