We currently have an exciting opportunity for two Commercial Clearance Analysts to join the team, one on a fixed term contract and one permanently.
As a Commercial Clearance Analyst, we will need you to support the Commercial Clearance Manager with the operational administration and regular reporting required for the effective clearance of Argos stock through both main chain stores, digital trading and alternative clearance channels.
You will also provide support and assistance to the clearance team in all other areas of stock clearance within Argos and group as required.

What I need to do:
Identify and track going RO (end of lifecycle) products and provide visibility of this to senior management & the trading team population
Support the classification process of all Argos stock into the correct categories to enable effective and timely stock management and clearance activity
Identify and track NIC (Not in Catalogue) products and provide visibility to trading teams and other stakeholders as required
Provide accurate visibility of ADDO (Argos Direct Delivery Only) stock to enable profitable and timely clearance of the stock
Support the Commercial Clearance Manager with Ad Hoc reporting & queries that arise
Identify opportunities for improvement to existing reporting methods
Provide operational support as require to the clearance team in all other aspects of clearance managed by the RO & Stock Clearance team
How will I succeed:
Self-motivated and capable of solving issues occurring in the day to day operation of stock clearance
Able to plan and find effective solutions to adapt the clearance operation to the needs of the business
Ability to assess where issues fall outside of standard guidelines and escalate these issues to line management in a timely and concise manner
What I need to show:
Qualified to GCSE standard with excellent numeracy and good literacy skills
Strong Excel skills essential with good knowledge of Access advantageous; Word & PowerPoint to a competent standard
Ideally two years’ experience in a role involving regular detailed analysis and reporting, including sourcing and manipulation of data and subsequent presentation of data to line management
Ideally one years’ experience within some area of stock or supplier management
